WHAT'S NEW?

It is finally looking (and feeling) more like spring these days.  The weather is warming up, the grass is getting greener and flowers are starting to bloom.  And you know what that means.....the end of the school year is not far off!! Summertime is coming - and the kids will be OFF FROM SCHOOL FOR TWO MONTHS!!!  I am making Amberly put her own schedule together of what she will do to keep herself from getting bored. After two weeks, I am usually ready to send her to camp somewhere.

Amberly has her recital coming up in June.  She is in three numbers - jazz, ballet and tap.  Every year the recital (all the numbers, not just hers) seems to get better and better.  We are really looking forward to seeing it again this year - we'll put a few pictures up.

We took a trip down to Florida this year for Easter.  We had a great time and really enjoyed the warm weather and sunshine.  Bill looked more relaxed than he has been in a while.  He is ready for a move there, while I feel it is just like New York with palm trees - a bit crowded and the taxes are getting pretty high.  We shall see though.  We are checking out a few spots to make a move - we are sick of the high property taxes and the high cost of living here on L.I.  We have had enough.

On another note - have you been watching American Idol?  Aside from the whole Sanjaya fiasco, this has been a great season!  Melinda, Jordin and LaKisha rock and the guys aren't too bad either.  I am not sure who of the girls I am rooting for, they are all amazingly talented.  No matter what, they definitely have a career in music ahead of them.
